The person below me is not entirely correct.

First off, 'popping your cherry' is a slang term for breaking your hymen. This is the thin layer of skin in your vagina. Many people associate sex with 'popping the cherry' because that can happen during sex. But that is not the only way it can happen.

Some girls are born without a hymen, or it is in a position where it will never be broken.

Other girls break it in ways other than sex. Sports, physical activity, inserting a tampon, etc. can break it. I broke mine at the age of 12 when I put in my first tampon. I bled and it did hurt and was sore for a while, but it healed just fine.

You might have broken your hymen, and if so then it isn't anything to worry about. If you are doing well now and aren't in pain and aren't bleeding anymore, then don't be concerned. If you are not feeling well, see a doctor.

Good luck,

-Abby

i was 14 when i lost my cherry and yes it did burn when i went to the loo and yes i did bleed, but unles you have physicaly had sex your cherry has not been popped.

you may have broke the layer of skin (also known as the virginity skin) causing this to happy but other then that unless you have had sex you have not popped your cherry.

If your still unsure hun go to the doctors and checked out x
