this might get kinda long im sorry /:
ok so i had sex with my boyfriend of basically 3 years for the first time about a month ago and i was a virgin previously ( i dont want to hear about how im "too young" or whatever cause that really doesnt matter ) anyways, since then, we've had sex about 6 or 7 more times, always being super safe with the whole spermicidal condoms and stuff and he always pulled out just because i want to be as safe as possible. i expected my period about a week ago, and i was pretty flexible cause my period usually is a few days later than expected. but i feel like its gotten a little too late. i have signs of getting my period (breaking out, moodiness for the past 2 weeks, tender breasts, etc) so i feel like it should be here. and idk if this is a factor but i found out i had a small ruptured ovarian cyst about a week after my period ended (so like 3-4 weeks ago) and they said it was small so it should go away and i think it did but now both of my ovaries still kind of hurt off and on so i wonder if that could be delaying it too. im stressing out about this A LOT like i think about it 24/7 and im absolutely freaking out and i know stress can delay it too. i just really really need some answers....
if anyone has any idea of what could be going on i would really appreciate it!!
As long as you get your period once a month there shouldn't be any worry, If you don't get your period at all that month then I would take a pregnancy test to be sure. If not, Then schedule an appointment with your gynecologist. In the meantime stop freaking yourself out because that alone will cause your period to delay.
