I want to learn a new language

Question Posted Saturday July 16 2011, 6:36 am

I don't have a ton of money, so I can't get anything fancy like Rosetta Stone. I was hoping there was a program or website where they can teach me some basics. The language I wish to learn is Japanese and I understand it's a bit difficult, but I've always been so fascinated by it. Any advice on how to start learning it? Any helpful sites and tips on learning a new language?

I have been fascinated by Japanese since I was a little kid.
It's not easy to learn Japanese on your own, but it can be done if you're passionate enough.
I would be willing to tutor you if you'd like an online teacher/tutor.

Just through a random google search I found [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) but if you search "learn Japanese for free" you might be able to find something. Otherwise check out if there is a class in your area.
