I need a laptop for school. All I'm using it for is to write papers, and use it for research. I don't go on facebook or any of that stuff. I do play a few games, and would also like it to run sims 2. I don't need anything fancy, and I really don't care if I have to replace it in a few years.
My budget is 450, that is why i really don't care if its lasts all that long. i really won't use it much, and i don't really plan on downloading much.

The best advice I can give you is to go to an electronics store and ask to look at their refurbished laptops. These laptops are brand new. "Refurbished" just means that when the laptop was tested, something was wrong and they sent it back up the line to be fixed. You can get a really powerful refurbished laptop for around $300 or less. :) [ WhiteDestiny09's advice column | Ask WhiteDestiny09 A Question ]
