So I'm going to soak city tommorrow... but I am on my period!
And well, I'm on my period. I started yesterday. I don't know what to do! I really want to go, Because it's my best friend's birthday and if I miss it, She's going to be mad! I can't wear tampons, My mom said I can't. I know pads will get all soggy in the pool...What do I do?! Please please please help. I'm scared!

umm.. why won't your mom let you wear tampons?? That's really weird. Tampons are safe, you just have to change them every 4-6 hours. They are comfortable because you can't even feel them. It's as if you never even had your period haha. They are really easy to put in too. Its difficult your first few times because you don't really understand your vagina that well.. but you'll get the hang of it eventually. They are amazing because I can literally do whatever I want on my period. It's so stress free :)
Talk to your mom about tampons and ask her why she won't let you use them. They are normal, a lot of girls wear them. If she still won't let you use one, I say use one anyways haha. If you use a pad, it will just get messy and embarrassing if anyone finds out. Plus you'll be stressed out and always worrying about leaking etc. There's instructions in the tampon box on how to put tampons in. Also, I'm really good at giving instructions for tampons, so if you need help with them, inbox me because I can really help you with them.
Oh and once you start getting your period, you are becoming an older woman.. which means you should start making your own decisions in life. Maybe now is the time that your mother stops making decisions for you. Make your own decision because soon enough, you're on your own and will have to make your own decisions your whole life. Start now.
