Right side lower back pain!

for the past week ive been experiancing intense pain on the right side of my lower stomach. It lasts for hours at a time and then stops and comes back again.What could it be a sign of? Should i see a doctor?

Could be a number of things, which is why you need to see a doctor asap, to pinpoint it and give you the correct medication.
