yeast infection: Monistat 7 made the itching and burning worse!

I have my first yeast infection, and i bought Monistat 7. i was wondering if it made the itching and burning worse for anyone else besides me?

If it made it worse, stop taking it and see a doctor. Sometimes medications can cause reactions.

It should not make it worse. More than likely you do not have a yeast infection, and should see your doctor immediately. You should always go to the doctor, if you have never had a yeast infection before. Multiple vaginal infections can look like a yeast-like infection. I've had multiple yeast infections, especially when I was pregnant. I wouldn't say they really itch, tho some people say they have itching, it's more the skin is red and irritated. Feels raw and sore, and you usually get a white discharge that has no smell.
