It is very common to be irregular when you are young. I was very irregular until I had my first child. Then my system balanced out, and was predictable. Is there any reason you don't want to have it? Horrible cramps or something like that? I would just talk to your mom about your issues, and see if she would agree to take you to a doctor.
If you haven't officially had your first period, your body is readying itself for it. If you're spotting, you could get it anytime. Just keep pads with you in your purse or backpack, and wear a pantyliner just in case. That way no embarrassing accidents. [ Myrrha's advice column | Ask Myrrha A Question ]
