don't know where to start!

Question Posted Sunday February 27 2011, 8:48 pm

so i joined a gym but I don't really know what to do. I'm trying to loose 20 pounds and tone up a bit. i hate my arms, stomach, and legs. i usually do like 30 minutes of cardio (bike, treadmill, steps) then 3 sets of sit-ups (20 in each set), 3 sets of a glute workout, and 3 sets of arm press. any advice? also i'm 19/f 150 lbs 5'5" thank you!

Those sound like good things your doing so far. One thing to remember is not work the same muscles 2 days in a row. So work on the tummy one day, then legs, arms and then repeat. Make sure you stretch really well before you start each time, so you don't pull a muscle. The next thing to do is change your diet. Don't do it so drastic that you want to quit but make subtle changes that you thing you can live with. Eating a good breakfast is a great start to avoid snacking through the day. I hope this helps and good luck.
