How do I know I'm about to get my period?

I found some blood about 5 days ago, but nothing else so now I'm kind of worried please help!!!!

Give it a month. When you get your period you will feel a little pressure in your lower stomach, where you normally get your cramps. You will also have brown blood on your pants if you are getting ready to start.
If it's your first time, usually it doesn't last very long until a few months later.
Just be patient, everything will straighten out within a few months.
