Cold sore or fever blister??? What is the difference and how on earth do I make it go away faster????

they are both the same thing, small, painful, fluid-filled blisters or sores that appear on the lips, mouth, or nose that are caused by a virus.

what works with me is to constantly put ice on it, and to use a cream called "Zovirax". and dont worry it goes away in about 7 days and heals completely. just dont touch it because its contagious and can spread to other parts of the body (eyes,nose,lips,sex organs) and always wash your hands and be sure not to touch your eyes if you didn't because its very dangerous when you get it in your eyes. other wise its easy to deal with. and if you dont want to get it again or at least decrease the chances, here are the causes: stress, fever, cold, immune system problems... etc... mainly. hope that helped abit. and here is a link for the medication cream you can read about it more here: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). ]
