uninstall toolbar?

Question Posted Thursday January 13 2011, 10:49 pm

one day i was just browsing the internet and i found this cool toolbar kind of thing and i thought it was something different but when i downloaded it on my computer, i realized its not what i wanted. so i uninstalled it. but now whenever I go on the internet, there's a pop up saying "you tried uninstalling this toolbar. would you like to successfully remove this toolbar?" and i click yes but then nothing happens. the pop up box just leaves and then if i exit out of internet and go back on it, the pop up box comes up again. i dont know whats wrong! I dont think its a virus because nothing unusual is happing to my computer.. its acting the same as it did before i installed it.

can someone please help me?

i'd rather not tell my parents or go get professional help because i dont want them to think i download crap off the internet all the time.. which i dont. its not like i download stuff every week and get like a lot of viruses. this is the only thing ive downloaded off the web for a long time and i'm kind of freaking out because i dont know how to get it off!

someone please help!
