Itching down there! Girls Preferably :)

Question Posted Monday November 22 2010, 11:58 pm

15/f

I'm just going to get straightforward to the point here. Well, the lips of my vagina have been itchy for a few months now. It's not the inner parts like the actual vagina or clit, but it's more of the part where the hair grows and the part where the two outer lips meet at the top (Kind of a V shape?). I have normal discharge and period. Never had sex. So I don't understand why this is happening :/ It's really distracting sometimes when I'm at school or even at home. Anyone have any advice? Oh, and I really don't feel like telling my mom or going to the doctors or something. :P Thaanks !

Do you often shave down there? because irritation often happens when it is growing back.

As the previous answer said you could have a skin condition. could be something to get check out.

Or you could be alergic to something? does your mum wash your underwear seperately. are you alergic to any particular fabrics or washing powder?

It is probably just dry skin. When your skin is dry it does tend to itch at times, but if it continues to itch even when your skin is not dry you might have a medical or skin condition. If that is the case you should talk to your mom even if it is awkward so she can take you to see your doctor. Because you never know it could be serious so better to take care of it now instead of waiting until it gets worst.
