I have just bought a Toshiba A660 laptop and it has a thingy at the end of the cursor, it has arrows on it and zooms across the screen but has the disadvantage of stopping me from playing games because it suddenly ejects me and if its a timed game I have to get back to it and usually it has finished. I have looked at the manual but cannot see how I can remove it. Can anyone help please?

If you are using Windows:
Go to control panel, and open the "MOUSE" menu.
Click the tab for pointer options.
Uncheck the "display pointer trails" option.
That should do it.
