How do I find a dentist in my area?

Question Posted Wednesday October 20 2010, 6:41 pm

I'm 20 and have a killer toothache. How do I find a local dentist and get an appointment? I feel stupid but nobody ever talked to me about how you get doctor's appointments and all of that. What do I do? Is there a list some place of local dentists?

i think yellow pages could help..if it does what i think it does. also ask around, ask your parents and your friends. once you find the dentist you want to go to, call them and ask to schedule an appointment, they'll ask what the appointment will be for, and you can tell them what's wrong with your tooth. :)

sources: my mom works for a dentist. :)
