Community College/ University...HELP? Okay so I'm in Community College, I'm majoring in History...because, well, I want to be a history teacher. In community college, you can't minor. So when I transfer to a University, that's when I add the Education part right?
I'm asking because there's also a degree program called Social Science Education. Aren't they both the same? I know you really don't get down to the education part until your junior year anyway, right? So does it matter if I take History or Social Science education?
please clear this up for me, i'm so confused!
Thanks.

I would talk to your adviser. Seriously, they are there to help you for questions like this, and often times, people try to figure out their college plans by themselves, and it just ends up really bad. Go talk to your adviser and they might be able to give you a better idea of which major might be right for you.
I see Social Sciences more as like.. Economics, Anthropology, and the like. History probably falls under the Social Sciences category, but is a more specific major.
Like I said, though. Talk to your adviser.
