Nikon coolpix L110

Question Posted Friday September 24 2010, 10:23 pm

Soo this is my first photography type camera and I am absolutely clueless. Does anyone have any tips, comments, anything? haha. I'm used to a basic digital camera. One click. Flash on or off. The end. But there's more buttons and stuff on this one and I don't know anything about it. Thank you :)

There are tons of personal reviews about the Nikon coolpix L110 photography camera online that you could check out for some more information. Unfortunately, Advicenators aren't big on taking photos for real photography reasons. They'd rather take 50 thousand shots of them in the bathroom doing the MySpace photo shots ;)

From what I'm reading, everything about the camera is pretty good but the image quality is not knock-your-socks-off, really. Someone suggest upgrading tot he Nikon P100 or Fuji HS10 if you want better image quality. Someone did say Poor low-light photo quality and a long shutter lag were problems for them when using the camera. If you're fairly new at this then it shouldn't make a big difference though.

The image controls are basic and made well for beginners and learners. I quote: "The lack of a P, A, S or M shooting mode should tell you that Nikon is targeting novice users with the L110." There isn't anything wrong with that though, of course.

You might want to check out this:

[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

It is a lengthy review about this camera and includes photo shots of it in the different styles, angels, and whatever else photographers care about.

I hope that fills you in on some of the details of the camera you haven't figured out yet. I don't even own a camera so I can't tell you more about it it, unfortunately!
