How do you untighten the knob of an old fashion blood pressure kit? I received one in my med class today with one of those manual pumps but unfortunately my brother was tinkering with it, and he managed to really tighten up the knob used to release the air. Any suggestions or ways to untighten it? Thanks.
If possible, ask your teacher before class one day. I'm sure he/she will really understand. I'm sure you're not the only one that something like this has happened to. It could turn out to be something broken though and that needs to be replaced. In any sense, your instructor can let you know.
If that fails then ask a nurse or a doctor about it. Not many would mind answering a quick question of a student who is studying in the medical field. You can ask at a clinic or at a hospital. Heck, if you have a regular doctor then it might even be possible to call and ask the person who answers the phone in case they know what you're talking about.
