Okay well I'm a teen girl..and I've been suffering with odors since 7th grade. I had an odor from 7th-10th grade, which ruined my life. I barely had any friends, I wasn't social, and it brought down my confidence. During the summer before 11th grade, I lost 20 pounds, when I went back to school, the odor was gone. So, obviously, I felt great and very happy. However, this past summer, I fell into depression (due to different things), but after a few things got resolved, I was okay. But, I gained about 10-12 pounds. I went back to school a week ago...and the odor's back :/. Now let me tell you. I shower every day (even when I was in 7th grade), I'm the cleanest person ever, I brush my teeth, use deoderant, clean my clothes everyday, etc. But I noticed, the odor only came back when I gained the weight again. I've been struggling with a weight issue my whole life. But it just seems since I gained some weight on again, I got back the odor. But it's not as bad as it used to be. I'm working on losing weight agaiin...I'd hate to go through what I did in Junior High. The other day, I used my brothers "Odor blocking soap" and the morning before school I made sure to use deoderant wherever it was needed...but, I still had an odor. It's just so annoying that it popped up randomly again. Do any of you know why this happens? Again, I'm a very clean person so it's obviously not my hygeine. Ugh. Please help.
Additional info, added Friday September 17 2010, 8:11 pm: Oh and I don't have any type of disease. My bloods been tested just recently (4 months ago before the odor came...). So it has to be linked to my weight somehow? If that's even possible...I'm not even THAT heavy though. I look average.... Want to answer more questions in the Health & Fitness category?
