I was just wondering in what orderd should I read frank millars batman novels. I have batman year one and the dark knight returns. I was just curious on which one I shoudl read first

I asked my fiance, who is my Batman authority.
He says:
"If you like Batman Begins more than The Dark Knight, read Year One first. Otherwise, read Dark Knight first. The storylines don't depend on each other, so even though Year One takes place before Dark Knight Returns, it won't matter what order you read them in."
