Anyone want to tell me why my book isn't being picked up?

Question Posted Tuesday July 27 2010, 2:34 am

Literally, that's it. I just want somewhere I can get advice on how to get my book picked up by agents or publishers.

And please, for the love of all that's holy and sacred, do not mention Stephanie "I'm overrated" Meyers. The fact that she got published and I'm not just serves to push me to suicidal depression..

Persistence.

Don't give up, & keep giving your work out to publishing companies. It's hard work, but eventually someone will pick it up if it's worth reading. Even Stephenie Meyer had a hard time getting published, and you see what a big success she is now. :)
