Macbook Pro webcam will not work

i have a macbook pro so i have the built in webcam....
when i go on websites that you can use your webcam on and it says "this site is trying to access your camera" and you click allow or deny it doesnt work. i click allow but it still wont work.
does anyone know how to fix this?

i have the same computer and you may just have to restart the webcam. but it may just be the way its set up, like when it says allow im pretty sure there is something you can click to change the settings and you should be all set.

but also if you ever have photobooth open at the same time it doesnt work because it cant be on the same time as when you are trying to cam with someone else.
