So, for a few months now.. every month after my period, I have VERY smelly discharge. I can't even wear jogging pants or comfy pants because it seeps through and everyone can smell it. Sometimes the smell even goes through my jeans. It can last anywhere from a few days to like 2 weeks. It drives me nuts! What could be causing this? And how can I stop it?

Well make sure you use soap when you wash there, some people just use water and it doesn't help. Also, (here comes something that might be weird) don't wear underwear when you sleep.. i know this sounds totally weird, but if you let yourself air out and breathe some there, it may actually help. 16/f [ MickeyC_3's advice column | Ask MickeyC_3 A Question ]

As long as the discharge does not turn a certain color like greenish, then it is healthy. The discharge is bacteria that naturally cleans your body and protects it from other germs entering your body. As of ways to stop it, I have heard that birth control pills can reduce the production of discharge. As awkward as it may sound, your personal physician can offer other ways to get rid of it if birth control pills are not a way you want to get rid of it.
