Help with these two guys

I like this guy and he kind of likes me.But all my friends say he likes anthor girl.I didnt believe him so i ask him out and he turned me down. So at one point i gave up on him then i started likin anthor guy.I'm afraid to ask him out because both guys are best friend. But this time this guy really makes me feels special. He is there for me sometimes more than my friends do. But i think the first guy i like is startin to like me now. So what do i do?

first guy sounds like a player to me, second guy is always there for you and acts like he really likes you. remember when you thought firstie liked you but he turned you down? well, maybe this time is like the first time. go ahead with number 2. sounds like a winner to me.
