Affects of traveling?

Question Posted Monday July 12 2010, 10:26 pm

I will be travelling out of the country soon and where I'm going is extremely hot and humid. I am also suppose to get my period during this trip. Do you know if extreme heat affects my period schedule? Also, I am on birth control so would that keep it regular?

Since you're on hormonal birth control pills, I take it, then your period should fairly normal. It might be off by one day but, other than that, probably not at all.

Make sure to drink plenty of pure, clean water as often as possible while you are in the heat. Keep your body properly hydrated and nothing should go wrong or change.

Stress can alter your normal menstrual cycle but the birth control will probably help to keep it stable any way. Just relax and have fun. Take care of your body.
