so you said i should talk to this guy and get to know more about him , because obviously i hardly know anything about him.
but the thing is what do i talk about ??

Okay, well if you have any classes together, or same classes you can start up a conversation about that. Or talk about your favorite music and his. Places you like to go, and ask him. Maybe you could invite him and some of his friends and some of your to the movies or somewhere else to hang out. That way you are close to his friends too. And that way you aren't just alone with him, so it won't be as ackward. You could ask people that are mutual friends between you guys how is he. That way you kind of get to see what other people think he is like. Just treat him like any other guy that you have as a friend. Because you want that friend relationship before you go into a relationship. Hope that helps...
