Boyfriend going away to USNA Need a song to sing

My boyfriend is leaving for the United States Naval Academy very soon and will be gone for months and months.
I want to sing a song at his party, but idk what, I have two songs in mind

1. Faith Hill- There You'll Be
2. The Night Before (Life Goes On)- Carrie Underwood

i think you should sing the night before by carrie underwood it seems more approprait for the occassion and besides it a good song.
