Hp webcam 64bit problem

I recently upgraded my laptop to windows 7 from vista and since then i coudlnt get my hp webcam working so i downloaded the 64bit file update and tried it but during installation it said please connect the webcam but since its a laptop its internal and already connected. anyone have any ideas? cheers

Dang. I have the exact same problem, so I don't know if I can be of much help, BUT what you should do is look for drivers for your laptop. You should be able to find it on the website. But I don't know if they have the correct drivers. You should search for "(your model laptop) Widows 7 webcam Drivers)" or something along those lines in google. I have a Sony Vaio and I wasn't able to find the correct drivers to enable my web cam to work.

Hope this helps and I hope they have the correct drivers for you. I'm really irritated that I couldn't find drivers for mine.
