fancy dress party playlist music

Question Posted Tuesday June 1 2010, 2:56 pm

I'm having a fancy dress party in July and I need to put together a playlist (obviously) and I was wondering if anyone can help me with this?
I need mainly newer stuff, R&B I'm thinking. I just have no idea about this kind of music :P
Thanks!

Your question has prompted a few of my own questions. First, what is a "fancy dress party?" It sounds European and exotic.

Second, why do you want to host a party and then play music that you know barely anything about? I feel like a "fancy dress party" sounds rather stressful and I suggest you play music that makes you feel more comfortable. Leave the R&B to the experts.
