In your opinion please tell me what you think the meaning to Keep The Change (You Filthy Animal) by The OverUnder is. I really can't find much on this song or band.
Thanks! (:
I guess he kept saying what he felt in his heart over and over and the person who ended up screwing him over says, "You're like a broken record!" not realizing that he was speaking what was on his heart.
"...then you come clean."
She was hiding something from him and then, suddenly, came clean with it all or he found out about the lies all at once.
"Call it what you wanna call it,
You never called me back..."
She broke up with him by not talking to him again. If you say you'll call someone to work something out and then you never call or never return a phone call then obviously you broke up with them in a pretty cold way.
"I won't try to fly so don't convince me"
Maybe he's saying he won't leave this alone so don't even try. He knows her secrets now and he's going to spill the beans. "Fly" would mean "leave" and he won't be doing any of that.
So, yeah...
Girl lied to boy
Boy is really upset
She said she'd call and didn't
Boy is upset from broken heart
Boy is mad at girl for the lies and not being herself and honest
He's not going to leave and will be telling all of the gorey details to ther other boys she's going to try to screw over.
