Science Project: Rubber band or spring?

Question Posted Saturday April 17 2010, 7:21 pm

Is there a really strong rubber band like item for sale some where. or is there a spring that last a really long time... my teacher wants to keep my science project ,but the spring keeps breaking. It could work with good aim and rubber band like object too. i would like any information you people could provide.

I'm sure if you go to a hardware store you could find some really strong springs. Ask a sales rep.
