So I did a little online research and different sources have different info about solar nails so it's hard to come to a conclusion.

From what I gathered, solar nails use a different type of powder/oil then acrylic nails and they are good for not becoming discolored in tanning beds or outside. I've read some articles where people think solar nails are a rip off that salons use just to charge more money when essentially they are the same as acrylic. Some say they last longer then acrylic. I would go to your nail salon and ask them about their solar nails to get better information.

Good luck,

-Abby
