Resume's

Question Posted Wednesday March 24 2010, 1:05 pm

When a job application says "send resume to xxx@xxx.com";, do i send it as an attatchment, or copy and paste it from the word document as text on the e-mail? I can see the advantage of an attatchment, i.e. its easier to read as its a seperate, but some people may be weary, because you get the "only open files from trusted sources" thing. Any Idea's? Thanks in Advance :)

If they don't specify which you should do then I would attach the file, then in the email type in something like "I've attached my resume, but I've also pasted it below." And then just copy and paste your resume into the email underneath that statement. Good luck!
