Well first off, it's your life. I can't decide for you and tell you whether you should say no or not. The only thing I can tell you is to try not to let people's judgments of you affect you too much. The only thing that matters is how you see yourself. You should be doing whatever you want to do that will make you happy, not satisfy the image other people have of you.
