Hair Thickness and Curling Irons

Question Posted Sunday March 14 2010, 10:57 pm

Does the thickness of hair have any affect on which size curling iron will yield the same results? Like will a 1.5" curling iron give the same result for both thick and thin hair? If not does thin hair need a smaller barrel or larger barrel to achieve the same results as thick hair would?

Thin hair doesn't hold curl as well as thick hair. I would use a smaller curling iron... probably around 1". The curls fall and make pretty waves.

Use a good hairspray like Kenra level 25.
