anyone konw how to make the shutter sound on the lg cookie silent ? it doesnt work if you just put the phone on silent

apparently (after googleing), the manual says that when the phone is on silent, the sound should not come on. The other option is to change the sound to something else? maybe something quieter:
Select shutter sound

Press the Camera Key
Press Settings
Press Others.
Press Shutter sound.
Press the required shutter sound
