DearSusie answered Monday March 8 2010, 10:55 pm: Unique gave great advice!! One thing I would add to the list is to NOT put lotion on the fresh cut areas until at least 24 hours, then use sensitive lotion if possible, to help prevent future bumps. The bumps are often ingrown hairs, or hairs that become ingrown, because they are especially thick or curly. Any of this sound true to form for you? So I've been researching and here are a few remedies some websites suggest:
-Dip the area in warm water
-Don't shave so often, give your skin a good 3-5 days to rest.
-Use shaving cream and allow it to sit there for a minute or so
-Try not to shave against the grain
Google is your best friend! Remember that next time ;)
