So.. I have strep throat.. Recently, I have been spitting up blood in my phlegm and normal spit. Im on Amoxicilin (875 mg) and i have to take 1 tablet every 12 hours. I last took one at about 7:00 NY time. It now is 11:09. For the past hour and a half, i have been noticing my spit has been tinted with pink, but now, it is getting worse. My Throat felt fine earlier, it was easy to swallow and it wasn't in as much pain as it was over the weekend...But now, it just hurts to swallow again. My mother said i was fine, and that the antibiotic is just doing it thing trying to get rid of the infection. I searched online if it was normal, and nothing was really said. I'm sure ill live if im supossed to go to the doctors and i dont, but i'm just curious. Is it bad or is it just normal?
