google toolbar help

Question Posted Sunday February 7 2010, 2:37 pm

I'm trying to clear my google toolbar history but the button that would say "clear history" is no longer there. How do i get it back? Another way to clear it? Thanks

googles website says:
Google Toolbar search history
To clear your Google Toolbar search history, click the drop-down arrow on the Toolbar search box, and click Clear History.

If you don't see Clear History at the bottom of the drop-down, then you currently don't have any Google Toolbar search history stored. You may, however, still see search suggestions from your Google Bookmarks, spelling corrections, or sponsored links. Learn more about these Toolbar search box features

If you'd rather not store Toolbar search history, follow these steps:

Click the Toolbar's wrench icon.
On the Search tab, deselect "Store search history on my computer."
Click Save.

other websites say this should also help. hope it works :)
