Vitiligo

Question Posted Wednesday February 3 2010, 11:12 pm

I have vitiligo on the back of my right leg and have had it since I was born. Recently I've noticed the skin is somewhat dry and has a greenish tint to it, almost like mold. Is this anything to be worried about? Or is it just dry skin and should I moisturize it? It's not melanoma because that's typically black, etc. Or so I'm assuming.

I'm not exactly sure about the whole greenish part, but I also have vitiligo. The only thing I can suggest for you is seeing a dermatologist. If you want to get rid of it they can prescribe a body conditioner that you rub on your body and it is supposed to fade away after so many times of use. Also I have heard they have some remedies as to getting rid of it as well I'm not sure how good of use it is but some of them are eating more spinach and drinking green tea.
