In your case I might experiment with skin fade cream on your scar (try a test to see if any allergic reaction may occur).
Always put sunscreen on your scar to keep it from getting any darker. I would also try cocoa butter nightly on it and also in the morning to keep moisturized.
Maybe also try alpha hydroxy lotion (again use test area on skin and scar) this will aid in sloughing off dead skin and regenerate new skin giving the skin a fresh new glow getting rid of the older damaged skin. (The alpha hydroxy could be used all over the face and will make your face look fresh and pretty! Just make sure to exfoliate the dead skin). Hope this helps!
