Well, I thought I was a couple of weeks pregnant at least because I missed my period this time around and had previously had sex with my husband. I was really excited but didn't tell him yet in case I miscarried. Well, today I started to have my period. My periods are usually really, really regular so when I missed it this last time I naturally assumed I must have gotten pregnant (we want to get pregnant, by the way).
Was I pregnant or was my period just a couple of weeks late? If I am having a miscarriage should I go to the hospital or the doctor, especially with it being this soon into pregnancy? Should I tell my husband if I am having a miscarriage? If it's not a miscarriage should I go to the doctor anyway since my period was really late?
This is general advice. What would be careless would be to give you advice I didn't stand behind or know for a fact. I gave you an answer that in most cases would be obvious, but because it clearly wasn't, it's worth giving. Beyond that, this is where my expertise dies. But as far as being careless, I think that's just calling the kettle black in this case. [ Matt's advice column | Ask Matt A Question ]

Is it your period you have now or cramping pains with heavy bleeding? If its just your regular period more and likely you were just late. take your timeit took my husband and I a long while to get pregnant with our second.
