Well, I've known this guy for 4 years he'll be 21 in March I'm 17 going on 18 in May. OKAY, here goes: he dated my sister for almost 2 years and they recently broke up in December 2009. He hates her, he wants nothing to do w/ her. She cheated on him 3 times and he knows. But she is the one who dumped him. & after they broke up he was telling me he was butt hurt and stuff like that because he loved her but then I remembered when he found out she cheated, he wanted to dump her, and she was crying and begging him for another chance and all that. But anyway, he knew I liked him I started liking him a couple of months before they broke up like around October 2009 and he knew about it. So when they broke up, we didn't see each other for a week or so and on Christmas he was all lovey-dovey with me and hugging me and holding my hand and I was remembering when I'd always reach out for his hand he would be like "What do you want?" and now he's always doing that stuff. So I guess you could say we're kind of dating but not official. He always calls me, he always wants to see me, and we basically do everything together. But I know he wants to take his time to REALLY get over my sister, but when do you think he's going to ask me to be his girlfriend? I've been waiting for so long! I know it's only been over a month but I felt as if it were much longer. What should I do?

Unless he is coming to your house, picking you up and paying your way to movies or for dinner, I'd consider him just a friend. Until he says otherwise.
