Ok there's this guy i've known for like 2 years now. hes great but we only get to see each other like once or twice a week at basketball practice. i flirt with him and he flirts back(i know he likes me) but he has no clue i like him. its like he just doesn't think its possible. i look at him and know hes not hot but for some reason i've always been attracted to him. i really really like him but part of me is afraid to ever really act on it because i'm scared i'll change my mind when we're dating and hurt him. our parents are pretty close and his family loves me so i don't want to screw that up. also the next relationship i want to be in is a long one. times kinda running out because if bball ends and me and him aren't dating by then i will really never see him again. what should i do!? i need answers now please.
thanks:)

It may not be a long relationship and it may not work out in the long run but then you can just apologize and say that you still want to be friends or whatever. And if you dont at least try it you'll probably regret it later.
If he's like insecure about the way he looks try to casually bring up that you're kinda attracted to him. That also lets him know that you might like him. And then later maybe ask for his number casually and you can start texting him or talking on the phone so that way if you dont get a relationship before the season is over then you can still talk to him. If theres a movie you both wanna see than you could ask im to take you and then be like its a date and wink or something silly like that.
