hey so you answered my question earlier on the lump in my vagina .... im the 14/f. And you said it could go away after my period. (could you explain that one more) because i am hoping that that is what it is! aand i have 2 more days left in my period so i was wondering if it would go away after like you said.... also it has been 2 weeks and the lump has gone down a tiny bit in size and a little hole has opened so it is not completely blocking anymore

Alright from the sounds of things i think you may have a boil because its a lump and youve said its opened up abit.Im not a doctor keep that in mind so what im saying could be wrong.the reason its going down in size is because your close to your period.I think its got to do with hormones.before your period your hormone levels go up irritating the lump causing it to infalte in size.after you have your period your hormone levels go down so the lump gets smaller.
By the way a boil is like a pimple except bigger. It is difinitly not cancer or anything too serious because the lump has now opened up which means its getting better.
To get rid of the lump i suggest you go to the doctor and get it checked out because boils may not go away on there on.to get rid of a boil you need antibiotics.I suggest you wait after your period and if its still there then go to the doctor because it means you need the antibiotics to get rid of it.
If your feeling embarrassed about showing the boil to your doctor,DONT BE!i had a problem like this so i know how you feel.doctors see things like this all the time, maybe even worse!
i hope i helped,if you have anymore questions just let me know, dont be shy.
hope it gets better!!:) [ sia's advice column | Ask sia A Question ]
