if you know alot about dreadlocks please share your knowlege
hello, so im dreading my hair in about a week. i got the dreadhead package including the wax shampoo exct. i did lots of reserch on how to lock my hair fast and rolling techniqes and what not. i was wondering when i can put beads in my dreads? to have to wait for them to mature? or can i put them in while im dreading my hair? i was also wondering if theres any little tricks you could tell me also and suggestions for cute ways to wear my dreads like styles and stuff. well thanks bunches! :)

I have been wearing dreds for over 15 yrs. I think you should wait until your haiir starts to lock before you put beads in your hair. Locking can sometimes take a while. At the start you may have days where you just want to take the locs out but hang in there because once they lock it will be well worth it. As far as cute ways to wear your hair tying scarfs around your head is a very nice look. Just tie it around the edge of your head and let your locs hang down. Or if you have long hair wearing in in a nice ponytail on top of your head and let the locs just fall down around your head is a really nice dressy look. Remember locking can be a slow process so please be patient and good luck.
