How do I fill my tires: I need to fill my tires but I don't know what the guage means! ok I am trying to fill my tires, I put 2.5 lbs of pressure (i think it's pounds, from the air guage) and I am not sure if I put enough. I was wondering how much I should put in. I don't know what 44 psi/300 kpa equates to on the air tire guage. Thank you.

44 psi is 44 pounds per square inch.
If you have 2.5 psi in the tire it would most likely appear completely flat.
The best idea here is to have a tire shop person explain it to you in person. If you know someone who is car smart I am sure they would show you how the pressures are supposed to be.
If you over inflate the tires you can be injured or killed. If you underinflate them and then drive on them you can have a blowout and be injured or killed.
This is why it is important to understand for sure what you are doing.
If you aren't very car savvy may I suggest a AAA membership? It is pretty cheap and worth every penny even when you are car savvy. :-) ]
