is he really good for me?

Question Posted Saturday November 21 2009, 3:27 pm

I'm a 16 year old girl and and a junior in highschool. I have recently been having problems with my now, ex. I love him very much and I always will, but for the last two weeks or so he has just been seeming very uninterested. I have never cheated on him, nor has he cheated on me. When I text him its only a few words if that. When I see him in the halls he doesn't really want to talk he just wants to get to class as fast as possible. He has been flirting ALOT with other girls, and usually I am a very forgiving person, and I don't really get jealous about things like that. So, last night I told him that I think it would be best if we did not date anymore. He didn't seem to care at all but I miss him already. Did I make a mistake in the relationship? or should I just try and forget about him?

You made the right decision; it didn't seem like your boyfriend was committed to the relationship. If this just came out of nowhere then he's keeping something from you. And if he can't tell you what it is then he isn't ready to be in relationship.
Try to move on, there's a good chance he'll try to come back to you. When that time comes, take a good week or so to think about everything and if it's worth getting back into. Good Luck
