An answer you gave about why non-christians celebrated Christmas
Are you Catholic? and Do you sincerely believe that celebrating Christmas is not about the birth of Christ? I only ask these questions because as a Catholic i believe that Christmas will always be about celebrating the birth of Christ. The only reason that the true purpose of Christmas is not as publicized is because of the materialism of today's society. I ask you this question because it is interesting to get different insights as to what others who are not practicing members of the faith believe.

No I'm not a Catholic. I think people become so selfish around the holidays. Greed is all people care about nowadays, and all they ever will care about. Christmas is just another time of year for people to feed the greed. People have Christmas portrayed as a big fat jolly bearded guy, with a bag that goes through your chimney to deliver presents, and more junk you really don't need.
