sims 2 computer game

hey how do you delete something? i know you pick a item up and press delete but how do you delete walls and fences without pressing undo. I have a huge house built and everything and theres fence going through the one room thats not supposed to be there and i cant undo its been there since the previous save. how do you delete walls and fences?? please help.

this is the sims 2 computer game with no expansions just the regular game.

To delete walls and fences click on the tool that makes the walls, then hold the ctrl button and go over the wall you want to remove the same way you built it. Do the same for the fences. I'm pretty sure you have to use the wall tool to delete fences, you cant you the fence tool. This is how you delete a bunch of other things that you build, like foundation, and flooring. (But use that specific tool and hold ctrl)
